The one tip from Warren Buffett says you should always follow

Published over 1 year ago • 2 min read

Last night I attended a financial empowerment event at Madison Square Garden.

One of the speakers was wearing an $18 million dollar watch. How did he make so much money?

He started boxing as a kid and ended up with a 50-0 professional career. By now some of you have figured out I’m referring to Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

He, and several other speakers, shared inspiring but actionable advice on how to make more money. The cost to attend started at $125.

At the same time, in the same building, the New York Knicks were playing the Memphis Grizzlies. The cost to attend started at $125.

So here’s what was going through my mind.

Everyone in that build had a choice in regard to which event they would attend. They could spend $125 to learn how to make money, or they could spend $125 to buy tickets to a game.

3,000 people chose to learn how to make money. 20,000 people spent money to watch the Knicks lose.

As Floyd Mayweather said “We all wake up everyday with a choice and a chance”.

In retrospect, 20,000 people made the wrong choice even though they had a chance to greatly improve their financial situation.

So as you think about growing your business it’s important to reflect on what choices you’re making that give you the best chance at success.

Sure, there are a lot of great deals going on right now. But what can you buy that will have a positive impact on your future?

As Warren Buffett said, “The best investment you can make is an investment in yourself. The more you learn, the more you'll earn.”

So I’ll just get to the point: I drank alcohol every night for 10 years I was fired from three jobs within a 6 year span I was 40 pounds overweight and pre-diabetic Thankfully, with the support of my wife and a strong belief that my best days were still ahead of me, things have changed. I stopped drinking alcohol in 2015 I’m the managing director of an agency and a paid content creator I recently ran 1 mile, did 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air...

Based on your response to last week’s newsletter, I’m coming at you with another fast and powerful way to leverage ChatGPT and increase your revenue. Instead of just asking ChatGPT to create your content, you should also ask it to critique your content. Estimated reading time: 2.5 minutes In the example below I shared a pitch deck for my agency as a PDF document. Then, I asked ChatGPT the following: “I do sales for my company and will share this document with potential clients. Can you share...
